There are three things to remember when it comes to creating the perfect beer and cheese pairings:
- Match Intensity Levels – When creating a pairing, it’s best to match the intensity of the flavors of the cheese to the intensity of the beer.
- Aim to Create Pairs that Complement or Contrast – Like with any food pairing, it’s important to either complement the flavor and texture notes in the food or contrast the flavor and texture notes to create balance.
- Have Fun – Don’t stress out if your pairings aren’t as perfect as you had hoped. You can always crack open another can of beer and try again!
